Title: Customer Service Representative
London, ON
We are currently filling vacancies for Customer Service Representatives at London Hydro. This is an exciting opportunity to join a customer-focused team where you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional service across multiple channels, supporting customers with their accounts, and contributing to important programs and initiatives. Working in a fast-paced contact centre environment, you’ll build strong communication skills, collaborate with a supportive team, and gain valuable experience with industry systems and processes all while helping power and connect our community. Grade 12 education or equivalent is required.
What You Will Do
- Provide excellent written and verbal communication skills when communicating with customers regarding billings, payments, payment arrangements, products, repairs, policies and practices.
- Maintain and update computerized customer records.
- Research customer records and identify skip trace accounts, mixed meters, etc.
- Test changes to Customer Information System as an end user.
- Document all customer interactions.
- Sort mail and process returned mail.
- Slot read billing stubs and compare to batch tapes.
- Promote initiatives, products and programs.
- Initiate correspondence through modifying existing system letters and reports.
- Use personal computer and appropriate software proficiently.
- Assist in the training of new personnel.
- Work various shifts as required.
- Perform other duties related to the above job purpose.
